The University of West Georgia’s WebMBA has been ranked 21st by the Princeton Review in its list of the nation’s Top 25 Online MBA Programs. The list was compiled by the Review using information collected from 80 business schools offering online MBAs, using both school data and student opinion data from 2014.

UWG’s WebMBA, facilitated by the Richards College of Business, received high marks for its 4:1 student-to-faculty ratio, its AACSB accreditation, and the fact that 95 percent of its graduates are employed full-time.

According to the Review, the Georgia WebMBA is offered by six University System of Georgia schools and is considered a premier program in the system. UWG is the only Georgia WebMBA program to make the list.

The student data collected by the Review highlighted both the quality of the program as well as faculty and their peers. Some things quoted in their findings include:

The program requires an initial 2-day orientation campus visit, which students find “very helpful.” Students find each other “hardworking, dedicated, and dependable,” as well as “driven and mature,” “willing to take responsibility,” and representative of “large cross section of career fields.” “We are all working in different fields, which brings a variety of perspective to each situation.” “The majority of the professors were available and responsive in a timely manner,” and students appreciate that faculty is “highly engaged and organized.” “The administration is amazing, committed, and always there to help,” and administrators go “above and beyond to ensure the student was supported and engaged in the program, with the professors, with the platform technology, and with the cohort.”
