The University of West Georgia’s Center of Diversity and Inclusion (CDI), with support from the Department of Anthropology and the Student Government Association, recently hosted the 9th Annual World Festival.

The event featured performances by Chien Hong School of Kung Fu, Emrah Kotan Music and Rosa Flamenca Dance.; workshops in dreamcatchers, henna art, calligraphy and African head tying; and demonstrations by Muriel Riberio of Cordao de Ouro (Capoeira Martial Arts), West Georgia Judo and Wolves Futbol Club. Visitors were also able to sample authentic cuisine from around the world.
