The increase is 4 percent higher than last year’s enrollment and would mark the seventh consecutive year the university has seen record enrollment.

UWG Adds 33 New Positions for Fiscal Year 2017

The University of West Georgia continues to make strides in faculty and staff growth with 33 new positions for the 2017 fiscal year. Funding for each position was generated from new institutional finances. The new positions will support the Center for Diversity and Inclusion, Advising Center, Career Services, the College of Science and Mathematics, eCore, Dine West, Information Technology, Library, Purchasing, Softball-Women, University Police and UREC Administration (E&G). In just three years, UWG has funded 80 positions.
