Ms. Dusty serves as the Laboratory Coordinator for the Chemistry Program at UWG. Since joining the university, her responsibilities have steadily expanded. She currently oversees all laboratory-related activities for General Chemistry, Nursing Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. In addition, she manages the smooth operation of the Chemistry Peer-Led Team Learning Workshop Program.

Her responsibilities include advertising, recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising undergraduate Chemistry Teaching Assistants and Peer-Led Workshop Leaders. Additionally, she organizes and manages the preparation and execution of the annual Chemistry Awards Ceremony.
