Elizabeth Solis, M.A.

I was born in Brooklyn, New York. I come from a large family, three sisters and three brothers and we often had other family members staying with us, whether our grandparents, uncles or cousins. My parents moved to Puerto Rico, their birth place, when I was 9 years old. I grew up bi-lingual in a household where everyone loved to listen to music, from classical music to rock, salsa, baladas and others. I returned to the US mainland after having my children and then became a Spanish professor. I studied at UCF and FIU. I came to UWG in 2014. I teach Spanish.
