Dr. Green is an adjunct professor of instructional technology at the University of West Georgia, specializing in online course development and student engagement. He earned his Ed.D. in School Improvement/Instructional Technology from the University of West Georgia in 2017, with his dissertation focusing on educator technological pedagogical content knowledge and student achievement.
With extensive experience in educational technology and instructional design, Dr. Green has a career that spans from K-12 to corporate environments. He currently teaches game design and computer programmingat Floyd County Schools College & Career Academy, where he also coordinates the district's Technology Competition and coaches ESports.
Prior to this role, he served as an instructional technology specialist, designing the gamified professional development program Level Up for Floyd County Schools, and worked as an instructional designer for Midian Roofing, where he developed training for roofing professionals. Dr. Green also partnered with Google for Education as the Vice President of Education at O’Briant Group, providing professional development to educators globally and focusing on workforce readiness.
Dr. Green's research and expertise have been presented at numerous conferences, including the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and the Georgia Educational Technology Conference (GAETC). He is also a published author, with works on exploratory factor analysis and cluster analysis in educational research.
