  • How do I create an employer account in Wolfworks?
    Answer:
    1. Go to https://westga-csm.symplicity.com/employers
    2. Click on the "Register" buttom
    3. Complete the Company Information, Services Requested, and Contact Information sections and click "Submit"
    4. Once we review your company information, we will send a confirmation e-mail to the address you provided with your username and password

     

  • What are the criteria for registration and access to WolfWorks?
    Answer:

     You must have an organization email account ( NOT Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, or other general domain names), provide an active organization website that matches the domain name of your organization, provide contact person's full name with contact information, a physical company address, and phone number.

  • Why hasn't my employer account at UWG been approved yet?
    Answer:
    1. Under normal circumstances it typically takes 2-3 days to process pending employer approval requests. If your request is not complete in this timeframe, please check your email for any comments on your registration. You may also want to check you email spam box to see if the confirmation email went there.
    2. If you have an urgent need to post a job or internship listing for UWG students, please contact us at hirewest@westga.edu or 678-839-6431
  • Our previous recruiter no longer works with our organization. How do I update our account information?
    Answer:
    1. Log onto WolfWorks at https://westga-csm.symplicity.com/employers/ with the same username and password the previous recruiter used to register.
    2. Click on the " My Account" tab.
    3. Update the required fields in the Password/Preferences section.
    4. Click on "Submit"

    If the previous recruiter's information is not available, then contact the Employer Relations team at 678-839-6431 or hirewest@westga.edu to update your account.

  • How do I change my password?
    Answer:
    1. Log onto WolfWorks at https://westga-csm.symplicity.com/employers/ with your current username and password.
    2. Click on the " My Account" tab.
    3. Update the required fields in the Password/Preferences section.
    4. Click "Submit'
  • How do I request an information session ot information table? (include food, best times)
    Answer:

    Holding an information session is a great opportunity to reach a targeted group of students. Information sessions are held Monday thorugh Thursday anytime between 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Most information sessions usually last 60-90 minutes.

    1. Log onto WolfWorks at https://westga-csm.symplicity.com/employers 
    2. On the right side of the home page, under shortcuts, click on "Request New Information Session."
    3. Fill out the request and events details. Click Submit.

    Your request willl be approved in 24-48 business hours. Career Services will secure a room for your information session. We will also assist with marketing your session to students. There is no charge for the room or A/V equipment but catering is extra. You will be provided a link to DineWest, our on-campus caterer, with your registration confirmation. You may contact them directly if you wish to provide refreshments for your session.

  • Do you offer on-campus interviews?
    Answer:

    Yes, on-campus interviews will enable you to interview a schedule of qualified UWG students/alumni in an efficient manner, while you promote your brand on the University of West Georgia campus.

    UWG Career Services provides the interview facility, advertises your job listing, and assists you in setting up a schedule of interviews according to your needs. Interviews are scheduled during fall and spring semesters. Special arrangements can be made for summer interviews.

    2. On the right side of the homepage, under shortcuts, click on "Create New schedule Request."
    3. Fill out the request and event details. Click submit.
    4. Your request willl be approved in 24-48 business hours. Once approved, you will need to add your job to the schedule.

  • How do I post a position?
    Answer:
    1. Log onto WolfWorks at https://westga-csm.symplicity.com/employers 
    2. On the right side of the homepage, under Shortcuts, click on the Create Job Posting
    3. Complete the job information form with as much information as possible including any required skills, class level, major, how to apply.
    4. You will recieve a confirmation email telling you the postings has been received and is being reviewed.
    5. Once your job is approved, you will recieve another email confirmation.
  • What inofrmation should I include in my posting?
    Answer:
    1. Please include a description of the position including number of years of experience and any other job-specific requirements/skills
    2. Materials to be included with the application (resume, cover letter, writing sample, transcript)
    3. Contact information and your preferred application method.

 

Career and Internship Fairs

 

  • How do I register for a career fair?
    Answer:
    1. Log onto WolfWorks at https://westga-csm.symplicity.com/employers 
    2. On the right side of the home page, under Attend Events, click on the Fair you wish to register for
    3. Complete the registration form including the representatives section. Click Submit.
    4. You will recieve a confirmation email telling you the registration has been recieved and is being reviewed.
    5. Once your registration is approved, you will recieve another email with payment information (if paying by credit card) and other helpful information to help you in planning your visit to UWG
  • What is included in my registration?
    Answer:
    1. Up to 2 recruiters
    2. Table and chairs (no table cloth or skirting)
    3. Parking passes for two recruiters
    4. Free Wifi access
    5. Snack or lunch and beverages
    6. There is a charge for electricity and for recruiters over the 2 allowed with registration
  • What method of payment to you accept for Career Fair fees? 
    Answer:
    1. Checks made payable to University of West Georgia Career Services
    2. Credit Card- The University of West Georgia accepts Mastercard and ViSA
    3. We cannot accept cash payments
  • How do I ship my materials to UWG for the Career Fair?
    Answer:
    1. Please send Materials to this address:

    Materials should arrive at least 3 days before the Career Fair.
  • I need to cancel my attendance at one of your Career Fairs. How do I do this?
    Answer:

    On occasion, an employer may for whatever reason decide not to attend a career fair for which they have paid and registered. If that employer "no-shows," that is, does not come to the fair and does not notify Career Services prior to the event that they are not coming, the full fee for the fair (or fairs) is assessed. If the account has already been paid, then those monies are forfeited.

    Refunds

    1. Requests for registration cancellation must be made in writing to the UWG Career Services. event expenses are incurred based on the number of registrants; therefore, NO request for release of obligation or refund will be granted if recieved by UWG less than 14 days prior to the event. A full refund will be granted if the request for cancellation is recieved at least 30 days prior to the event and a refund of 50% will be granted if the cancellation request is recieved 15-29 days prior to the event.
    2. No refunds will be given for "no-shows" to University Career Services events. Fees paid are forfeited.
    3. No refunds are given to any company/business that has violated a University Career Services policy and is denied services. Fees paid are forfeited.
    4. Please understand that University Career Services does not cut refund checks; instead, the University's Controller's office does this. Refunds will take some time to process.
