Welcome to UWG Student Health Services, your on-campus resource for medical care. Beginning Fall 2018, Health Services will be changing the fee structure for services rendered at the University Health Center.

Many products and services such as nursing visits, advocacy visits, TB tests, allergy injections and over the counter medications will continue to be covered by the per semester student health fee. Effective August 13, 2018, Health Services will begin charging a fee for provider visits, immunizations, prescription medications and select laboratory services.

The fees are as follows:

  • Provider Visits $20 per visit (Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant)
  • In-House Laboratory Services $5- $20 per test
  • Prescription Medications- Oral and Injectable $5 - $125 per prescription
  • Immunizations $35 -$150 per immunization
  • Outside Laboratory Services- Fees dictated by lab provider
  • No Show/Late Arrival Fee $10

Students will have the option to pay at the time of service or the charges may be placed on the student's BanWeb account. Health Services accepts cash, check, HSA cards and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, and Discover). Non-payment on an account will result in an administrative hold being placed on the student's BanWeb account. The hold will be removed when the account is paid in full.

Health Services is an appointment-based medical clinic. In an effort to increase access and minimize wait times, appointments are required. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 678-839-6452 or stopping by the Health Center.
