The Counseling and Educational Psychology Department offers three graduate degrees in counseling, M.Ed. in Professional Counseling (School, Community, or College Student Affairs), Ed.S. in Professional Counseling and Supervision, and Ed.D. in Professional Counseling and Supervision. The M.Ed. programs in Community and School Counseling are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). The M.Ed. in College Student Affairs meets the criteria for master's programs in the 6th edition of the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS). The department also offers an initial certification/non-degree program in school counseling for individuals who want to be certified as a school counselor and who have a master's degree (or higher) in counseling.
