Bookstore
The University Bookstore is located across from the Technology-enhanced Learning Center (TLC). The University Bookstore carries all textbooks, materials, and school supplies necessary for students' use in their classes. The Bookstore also offers a wide selection of imprinted gifts and clothing, office supplies, general books, art supplies, Greek merchandise, laptops, netbooks, tablets, and a variety of spirit items for any game day event. Unlike other retail and on line book companies, UWG students can apply authorized Financial Aid to make purchases for textbooks and school supplies at the UWG Bookstore.
The cost of textbooks depends on the courses taken and the choice of new, used, or rental books. The Bookstore offers used texts whenever available, with costs about twenty-five to thirty-three percent less than new texts. Additionally, the bookstore also offers a rental program for selected textbooks with savings of up to 50% of new textbook prices. Store hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, and extended hours at the beginning of each semester.
As an added service to the students, the University Shuttle Bus has a stop directly in front of the University Bookstore.
New and used textbooks along with university clothing and gifts are available on-line at www.bookstore.westga.edu. Orders are normally delivered to students' homes in 2-5 business days.
