The UWG Next Strategic Planning Steering Committee met July 8 to continue preparations for the university's strategic planning process and upcoming engagement activities. Building on the foundation established during the committee's charge meeting in June, members reviewed feedback received through the open input form and finalized plans for listening sessions that will begin this summer.

As part of the discussion, committee members reviewed constituent groups, engagement opportunities, and facilitation plans designed to ensure broad participation from students, faculty, staff, alumni, employers, supporters, and community partners. The committee also conducted a practice listening session and reviewed the framework that will be used to gather and synthesize feedback throughout the process.

Members of the UWG community are encouraged to share their ideas, priorities, and perspectives through the open input form, which remains available throughout the planning process. Feedback collected through the form, listening sessions, and other engagement opportunities will help inform the university's next strategic plan.

Additional details about participation opportunities in listening sessions will be shared in the coming weeks, and updates will continue to be shared on this website as the planning process moves forward.
