Located in the Health Services building, the Basic Needs Center at the University of West Georgia is available to assist all students who need temporary food, hygiene products, toiletry items, and academic supplies. The Basic Needs Center is managed by the Center for Integrative Wellness in partnership with the student organization SHIFT (Students Helping to Influence, Fulfill, and Transform).

Students are welcome to come shop for their needs during the Fall 2023 semester from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. To schedule an appointment, please email wolfwellness@westga.edu or call 678-839-6194.

The Center for Integrative Wellness is able to operate the Basic Needs Center through generous support from UWG employees, local businesses and organizations, and community partners. If you are interested in supporting or donating to the Basic Needs Center, you can do so in a few ways.

If you have any questions regarding the Basic Needs Center, please email us at wolfwellness@westga.edu.
