Let Your 6th-12th Grader Spend Their Summer With Us!

The University of West Georgia Summer Camps offer a unique experience for sixth through twelfth graders looking to explore their passions, make new friends, and learn a lot along the way. All weekly sessions run Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, from June 6th through July 22nd, except for the week of July 4th.

Give the gift of a summer camp experience to your child, grandchild, or friend. These make great gift ideas and provide a summer of learning, friendships, and memories. 

Sign up today for as many camps as you like at the Early Bird rate of $280, a savings of $15 off each camp. Camp registration includes expert instruction from UWG faculty and staff, rich materials, hands-on activities, and delicious lunches on campus.

Camp attendees will learn alongside faculty and staff experts to develop life skills and explore hands-on activities related to 🧪Science, 🎨Arts & Culture, 🖥️Computing & Entrepreneurship.

For those looking for additional opportunities - sign up for the Wolf Recreational Experience, Pre-Camp (7:30 AM-9:00 AM) and Post-Camp (3:00 PM-5:30 PM). Campers will be able to scale our rock wall, practice team building, make new friends, and other activities in our beautiful Campus Center.

June 21-24 (4-Day/No Camp on June 20)

🎨Art West Newnan - Show Me the Charcoals and Pastels: Take drawing to a new, fun level, using charcoals and oil pastels. 

🖥️Learn to Program with Python and Raspberry Pi: Learn how to program and create with python. Python is one of the fastest-growing programming languages in the world. Even YouTube is powered by Python! We will begin with creating a video game in python and then will use python to design and create a self-driving car using a Raspberry Pi robot.

June 27-July 1

🧪CSI Forensic Science - Level 1 (Grades 6-8): Use investigative skills and evidence to solve puzzling cases and explore exciting careers.

🎨Art West Newnan - Exploring Art Movements with Paint: Let's take an in-depth look into Art History by using drawing techniques and Acrylic paint to express and appreciate key pivotal moments in the art game.  

🎨Music West - Instrumental: Take your musical aspirations to new heights and hone new skills with the help of talented instructors.

🎨Play West - Acting: Your world is our stage! Learn acting games and techniques for stage and screen.

🖥️Game Design and Development: Build your own captivating games, explore the gaming industry, and build high-demand computing skills.

July 11-15

🎨Hola Espanol!: Enjoy learning about the cultures and language spoken by over 480 million people around the world.

🖥️Esports - Competitive Play and Management - Level 2: Network, play, and learn about the exciting world of Esports. Compete in daily tournaments to develop skills, meet new friends, and explore careers in Esports, games, and marketing.

🖥️Game Design - Scratch Video Gaming: Learn how to setup GameMaker on your computer, and how to use the tools such as Sprites, Objects, background images, background music, sound effects Stages, and creating scripts.

Wolves Exploration CampWolves Exploration Camp (Rising K-2) - Registration Now Open!

Join Us at the UWG Early Learning Center for an Exciting Adventure!

The Wolves Exploration Camp will provide your child with lots of opportunities to run around, get messy, and have fun (while sneaking in a few academic concepts- shhhhhhh, don't tell them!) The purpose of this camp experience is to provide a project-oriented approach to enhance academic instruction.

In this test-driven time, schools aren't able to delve into multi-disciplined approaches and allow children to participate in engaging projects. Wolves Exploration Camp will motivate your child to travel into the wonders of learning led by the expert team of instructors.

The Wolves Exploration Camp curriculum is designed for youth who will be attending Kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade in August 2022. 

All weekly sessions run Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, from June 6th through July 22nd, except for the week of July 4th. The registration investment is $195 for each one week/five-day session/workshop. A daily snack will be provided and students must pack a ready to eat nutritious sack lunch. Peanut-Free Facility.

Drop-off begins at 8:00 AM, the program begins at 8:30 AM, and all campers must be picked up between 2:45 PM and 3:00 PM. For those looking for additional opportunities - sign up for the Wolves Adventure, Pre-Camp (7:00 AM-8:00 AM) and Post-Camp (3:00 PM-5:30 PM). Wolves Adventure Pre-Camp is offered weekly, 7:00 AM-8:00 AM, for $20 per child. Wolves Adventure Post-Camp is offered weekly, 3:00 PM-5:30 PM, for $40 per child. Please register for the Wolves Adventure separately.
