Kathleen Skott-Myhre, Psy.D.

Dr. Kathleen Skott-Myhre is a critical feminist scholar-practitioner at the university of West Georgia. As a psychotherapist for over a decade she holds a strong interest in theories and practices related to counseling. She has extensive experience working with children and youth who have experienced learning challenges, substance abuse, family conflict, issues of sexual identity, eating disorders, phobias, and sexual trauma.

She has published in the areas of Youth Care, Ethics, and Feminist Spirituality and is the first author of the book: Writing the Family: Women, Autoethnography, and Family Work and author of Feminist Spirituality under capitalism: Of Witches Fairies and Nomads.
