The University of West Georgia (UWG) strives to create an environment that fosters excellence, collaboration, and transparency. To promote and support our students, faculty, and staff in their daily work, the University has established a centralized location to house official institutional policies.

This site houses University-wide policies and serves as a resource to support policy development and management at UWG. We encourage the University community to use this site as the primary source for University-wide policies. It features current information and updates on all policy-related items. Institutional policies published on the individual school, department, or unit websites should reflect the most up-to-date information and align to this site.

The following resources are available to help you review and amend existing policies. Please communicate any formatting/minor policy updates or policy-related questions to policy@westga.edu.

What is the role of University Policies?

UWG official policies guide and enable our community members to uphold the University's values and expectations.
