Assistant Director of Newnan & eCampus

Biography

Rebecca is the Assistant Director of Newnan and eCampus, a service unit of the University System of Georgia that partners with UWG institutions to provide quality, affordable, high demand, post-secondary online degrees and credentials that address the workplace needs of Georgia and beyond. Rebecca oversees the UWG Newnan Center's budget, managing the facilities (technology, building scheduling, and personnel), and monitoring compliance with policies and procedures. In addition, Rebecca serves on the eCampus administration team working with the Student Success Team providing support and resources to students to facilitate success, assists with the University's State Authorization Project, and works as the liaison between UWG and GHC at Douglasville, managing the UWG programs there. Rebecca serves on the Engage West Barrier Team and on the University's Staff Advisory Council. Rebecca served on the UWG Master Plan Committee, UWG Senior Diversity Search Committee, the DLA Conference Team, and the eCore and eMajor proposal task force. In her spare time, Rebecca serves as Treasurer for the Carroll County Veterans Memorial Park, the Carrollton Evening Sertoma Club, and the University of West Georgia Athletic Foundation. She is also the Coordinator the Carrollton July 4th People's Parade, Chair of the Carrollton Empty Stocking Fund and Audit Chair of the University of West Georgia Athletic Foundation.
