Legacy, Leadership, and Lasting Impact

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) unites historically Black fraternities and sororities that are grounded in scholarship, service, leadership, and lifelong commitment. Joining an NPHC organization offers students the opportunity to build strong bonds, honor tradition, and make a meaningful impact on campus and in the community. At University of West Georgia, NPHC provides a close-knit, supportive environment where members grow as leaders, serve with purpose, and carry their values well beyond college.

The purpose of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) shall be to foster cooperative actions of its members in dealing with matters of mutual concern. NPHC promotes the well-being of its affiliate fraternities and sororities, facilitates the establishment and development of local initiatives within the community, and promotes leadership development and lifelong membership.
