Some Greek organizations have on-campus housing, which by living on campus in greek housing, offers a unique and enriching experience that goes far beyond convenience. Fraternity and Sorority houses provide a built-in support system, helping students feel connected from day one through shared values, traditions, and a strong sense of belonging. With close proximity to classes, campus events, and student resources, residents enjoy the best of both academic and social life. Greek housing fosters leadership, accountability, and lifelong friendships—all in an environment designed to help members thrive personally and academically. It’s more than a place to live—it’s a home where you grow, lead, and make memories that last a lifetime.

The Office of Community Standards will provide regular updates to the campus community about organizations found responsible for hazing misconduct.
Additionally, UWG will strengthen hazing education efforts to continue educating students, faculty, and staff about types of hazing and prevention. Find more information about the Max Gruver Act at https://www.legis.ga.gov/api/legislation/document/20212022/202145.
