‘An International Scholar’: UWG Professor to Visit Philippines on Fulbright Scholarship
UWG recently announced Dr. Danilo Baylen as the institution’s first Fulbright U.S. Scholar in more than a decade. Baylen is the 14th UWG faculty member to attain the fellowship and will be traveling to the Philippines in 2023 to work with undergraduate and graduate students at West Visayas State University.

UWG Launches New Computer Science Endorsement Program
Georgia is a leader in the national movement to broaden K-12 students’ access to computer science education. UWG is supporting these efforts with its new Computer Science Endorsement program for current teachers certified by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. The program is offered through a collaboration between faculty in the College of Education and the College of Arts, Culture and Scientific Inquiry.
