Logan Arrington, Ph.D.

Logan Arrington is an Associate Professor, Chair in the Department of Educational Technology and Foundations (ETF), and Assistant Dean for Technology & Innovation in the COE. He teaches graduate courses on instructional design and human performance improvement. His research integrates systems thinking, learning from failure, and emerging technologies to support educators and learners in improving their performance no matter the context.  Logan served on the design team for Georgia's BEST, taking a leading role in learning design and implementation. He is also a founding member of UWG's Mobile Innovations Lab, which supports P-12 educators in designing authentic learning experiences leveraging emerging technologies and provides exemplars of these learning experiences to P-12 learners in local schools.  Logan is an active member of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology, where he currently serves as President of the Research and Theory Division.
