Jennifer Hurtt, Ed.D.

Dr. Jennifer B. Hurtt is a Limited-Term Instructor of Instructional Technology and School Librarianship at the University of West Georgia. She has over 24 years of experience, including teaching positions in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade, the administration of media programs in elementary and middle school settings, and teaching online graduate classes. Dr. Hurtt holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a master’s degree in School Library Media from Columbus State University. She completed her specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College and earned her doctoral degree in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of West Florida. Her research interests include school library improvement and K-12 education.
