Can I receive the COVID-19 vaccine on campus?

Yes, UWG has been designated as a distribution site for the COVID-19 vaccine, enabling the vaccine to be administered on campus to students, faculty, and staff. For more information, visit the UWG COVID-19 Vaccination Program page

When is Health Services open?

UWG Health Services is open for on-campus and telemedicine visits Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Please call 678-839-6452 to schedule an in-person or telemedicine appointment. Do not walk in to schedule an appointment. For more information, visit the UWG Health Services page.

How much does it cost to get a COVID-19 test at Health Services?

Saliva tests for COVID-19 are free of charge at Health Services but must be accompanied by a visit with a medical provider (physician or nurse practitioner). The fee for the provider visits is $20 and may be charged to your student account.

Where else can I get a COVID-19 test?

Urgent care centers in Carroll County, including Tanner Health System Urgent Care and Summit Urgent Care, offer COVID-19 testing. Check these resources' websites for more information. You may also contact the Carroll County Health Department at 770-836-6667 or visit their website for information on testing.
