Basic Life Support

Basic Life Support (BLS) is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who work in a wide variety of in-facility and pre-hospital settings. This certification is valid for two years.

What will you learn?

Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components.

CPR for adult, children, and infants

Effective breaths using a barrier device (mask)

Use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)

Relief of foreign body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants

Multirescuer resuscitation
