Comprehensive Community Clinic
The College of Education’s Comprehensive Community Clinic offers services for the community in special education, counseling, communication sciences and disorders, mathematics, and language and literacy. We are an educational training facility for undergraduate and graduate students to apply the skills and knowledge they gain during their academic studies in a highly supervised clinical environment.

Our Ed.D. program in School Improvement offers a unique opportunity for educators looking for an interdisciplinary, inquiry-based doctoral program that prepares graduates to become change agents in the schools they serve. Our program has served students for 12 years as a face-to-face program. Beginning with summer of 2011, we now offer 100% of our coursework online.

UTeach West Georgia is an innovative and highly successful teacher preparation program for students majoring in science and mathematics. The University of West Georgia is one of three institutions in the state selected to replicate the UTeach model.
UTeach was specifically created to attract the widest range of bright science and mathematics majors into secondary teaching careers, to prepare them with an advanced field-intensive curriculum, and to promote field retention through induction support and ongoing professional development.
